Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated 31 August 2026
Three ways to remove data from eksis, from the fastest to the one that removes everything.
1. Disconnect an Instagram or Facebook account
This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately.
- Sign in to eksis and open Settings → Social accounts.
- On the account you want to release, choose Disconnect.
The moment it is disconnected, that account’s access tokens are deleted from our database and eksis can no longer read from or publish to it. Posts still scheduled for that account are put on hold and will not go out.
Comments and messages already collected into your inbox remain in your workspace. To remove those as well, use step 2 or 3.
2. Delete individual content
Drafts, scheduled posts, media files, automations, and saved replies can each be deleted from their own page inside the app. Media you delete is removed from storage at the next scheduled cleanup.
3. Delete your whole account and its data
To delete your eksis account along with everything in it (workspaces, content, inbox, contacts, automations, and activity history), send a request to admin@eksis.io from the email address you signed up with, with the subject Data deletion request.
We verify the request, delete the data, and send you a confirmation. This is completed within 30 days at the latest, usually much sooner. The deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Full account deletion currently runs through an email request rather than a button in the app. We would rather say so plainly than promise a button that does not exist yet.
Revoking access from Meta’s side
Separately from the steps above, you can revoke eksis’s access directly from your own account:
- Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, then remove Eksis.
- Instagram: Settings → Website Permissions → Apps and Websites, then remove Eksis.
Revoking from Meta’s side stops our access immediately, but does not by itself delete data already stored in eksis. If you want both, also do step 3.
What we keep afterwards
After deletion we retain only records the law requires us to keep, such as proof of payment transactions. Records like these are not used for anything else.
Need help
If a step does not work, or you can no longer sign in to your account, email admin@eksis.io and mention the email address or the social account name involved.
