Comments and messages on DEV Community
Comments on your articles show up in the inbox, with the author and the article they belong to. The DEV API does not let apps reply, so answering happens on dev.to, one click away.
Connecting a DEV Community account
Generate an API key on dev.to under Settings, Extensions, and paste it into eksis. The key is stored encrypted, never shown again, and deleting it on DEV cuts the connection.

- Does eksis schedule the article, or does DEV?
- eksis does. The article is created on DEV at the moment your schedule says, so rescheduling or cancelling in eksis always matches what DEV shows.
- How much does it cost to schedule DEV Community posts?
- $2 a month covers a whole workspace, and DEV Community counts as one of its 20 social accounts. There is no per-channel fee, so connecting a second DEV Community account costs nothing extra.
